Thank you for some fantastic auditions - it made it hard to choose a cast, but we realize that we have talent in every single spot on the cast list. It’s going to make for an awesome musical! Please note: Many of you are listed for multiple roles, so please read the entire cast list.
Our first read-through is THIS THURSDAY, August 27, from 6-8 PM. I realize this is short notice with work schedules and some sports schedules, so I’ll take whoever can make it. I’ll be handing out scripts that evening.
Your calendars are available from Mr. M. after school today. Check which groups you are part of for BOTH music and blocking. (Music groups are lettered, while blocking groups have numbers.) I’ve tried to avoid as many conflicts with athletics, cheer, pep band, etc. as possible. See me as conflicts arise to work them out - I avoided most of them that I could, but I know we will still have some crossovers.
I’ll be checking with those interested in stage crew, make-up crew, costumes, etc. next week. If you have a friend who was interested in one of these spots, let them know.
As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to come and see me. I’m really excited to see what we can do with this production of one of my favorite musicals - Annie!
