NOTE: I had listed the date for callbacks incorrectly on the web site, so some of you planned for callbacks on Thursday, Aug. 11, and some for Friday, Aug. 12, based on which posting you saw. If callbacks are needed, I'll make both nights available and ask you to choose which work better for your schedule to make sure that those who require a callback have opportunity to do so.
Auditions will be held August 8-10, with callbacks on the evening of August 11. Please click on the link to sign-up genius below to register for an audition time. You should prepare a short monologue, as well as a song of your choosing to sing for us . (It doesn't have to be the whole song, but enough for us to evaluate. We use one of your choosing to let you pick something you are comfortable with in your range, so we can see what you can do.) You'll also be asked to sing part of the selected songs below from The Music Man based on your vocal range and character interest.
76 Trombones - Baritone Libretto Page Click Here (Note that he starts with Ya Got Trouble and rolls into 76 Trombones. I'm focused on the singing of 76 Trombones, but I'd love to hear you do the first part, too.)
You can look up and listen to these songs here, as well as find songs from other musicals for your audition if you desire. I have also recently linked the songs as I will use them for auditions to the titles of each one above. Click the title for a listen.
